Wifi Range Extender doesn't let me access it's web based interface after I complete its setup [closed]

So I have a D-link N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender and it was working fine for a month.

Two days ago it stopped having connection to the internet and most importantly it stopped letting me connect to its web based interface. Whenever I restore it to factory defaults, it lets me access it again but as soon as I complete the set up (by submitting my main WIFI password and setting up the extended network) it locks me out again. I can access it's wifi but I cannot enter the web based interface and it does not give me connection to the interent. Help please.

By default, bridge mode sets the management address for the D-link N300 Wi-Fi router. We try to check the management address of the router, the address segment of the main wifi, and the address segment of the D-link N300 Wi-Fi.

We check the IP address assigned by the main wifi obtained by the bridge mode. Is it in the same network segment as the IP address of the router?

If their IP addresses are not on the same network segment, we certainly cannot access the Web based interface.

If their IP addresses are on the same network segment, they may have conflicts. Then we need to reset the router's LAN address in the same address segment as the main wifi.

          • The router IS the main network, the DLINK is just an extender, or are you refering to the extender as a router?

          • What is the IP address of the primary router, the IP address obtained by the computer, and the IP address of the D-link N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender?
