Configure syntastic to not show error panel unless specifically called
How can I configure syntastic with (neo)vim to not launch the error panel (unless specifically called to do so) I really like the arrow at the side indicating that I have made an error and the helpful status bar message telling me what that error is but I don't like the big error panel. At the moment I just manually close it every time I save with :lclose
My current .nvimrc
" syntastic options
"set statusline+=%#warningmsg#
"set statusline+=%{SyntasticStatuslineFlag()}
"set statusline+=%*
map <C-e> :lclose<CR> "turn off error panel
let g:syntastic_always_populate_loc_list = 1
let g:syntastic_auto_loc_list = 1
let g:syntastic_check_on_open = 1
let g:syntastic_check_on_wq = 0
vim syntastic
