“Your entry cannot be used. An integer or decimal number may be required”

-1

I am using Microsoft excel on my MacBook Pro and I keep getting the error messagE: "Your entry cannot be used. An integer or decimal number may be required", when I try to fill an entire column with dates. I have no idea what is going on. Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the problem may me when I put an end value it is a date so it is :X/y/Z and it doesn't recognize the slash. How can I get rid of that?

Welcome to Super User! Can you please check that the formatting of the cells is correct? Also if you have a screenshot of your problem, you might want to include it.
