Can I secure boot to my Bitlocker encrypted VHDX without going through so many reboots?
The most significant waste of time; it seems like there are 4 PC resets when I switch OS. I suspect one of the problems is that I'm using the enhanced boot manager (it has a GUI-ish interaction with a light blue background). I've heard that causes extra reboots because it has to exit UEFI mode to load Windows graphical drivers or something. But I'm also thinking I may have to leave the enhanced boot manager enabled to "secure boot" via my TPM.
I also wonder if I can add my Bitlocker key to the boot manager to save the step of entering the key. My thinking that I'm not trying to protect my data from people getting physical access to my PC, I'm only trying to protect the PC from harmful software. The Secure Boot adds a measure of protection to my firmware from my gaming environment, and of course the FDE protects my work data from my games and vice-versa.
Note that I only direct-boot the game environment (for graphics performance reasons). Although I don't think it's relevant to this question, I boot my work VHD/environment in a separately-encrypted Hypervisor partition.
I tried to keep the information succinct, please let me know if I left out anything important.
