Modify response header variable using rewrite in web.config returns a -532462766 exit code

0

I trying to change the value of Server response header with blank value, using the following rewrite rule inside of :

<rewrite>
<outboundRules rewriteBeforeCache="true">
<rule name="Remove Server header">
<match serverVariable="RESPONSE_Server" pattern=".+" />
<action type="Rewrite" value="" />
</rule>
</outboundRules>
</rewrite>

However, when I execute the change using iisexpress in VS2017, when is trying to load the page, the application turns off and return and exit code with value -532462766.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how can it be solved?

Thanks.
