entr(1) doesn't trigger when uploading file via sftp
I am using entr(1) to invoke 'make' everytime I change the sourcecode of my project. However, I use CLion as my IDE on my local laptop, which uploads the source code per SFTP onto the remote server everytime I change something. This has to be done because it is only possible to compile it there (because of hardware reasons). My problem is, that uploading a changed file doesn't trigger entr, it only works when I change files directly on the server (e.g. via vim, which I don't normally want to use because CLion is much nicer for my purposes. I can't install CLion on the server.)
Does anyone have an idea how to make this work?
Thanks in advance :)
