SSD that works reading/showing data but wont write to disk anymore

0

It's an old ssd, it stopped booting my linux and now after a while I realised that all the changes i make to the data is rolled back after mounting/umounting.

Is there a way to confirm that it has a broken ?nand?

Maybe I can't even format now right? Cause it won't change the disk anymore. Only read.

  • It sounds like your ssd has read it's maximum number of writes. S.M.A.R.T might tell you more (Crystsl diskinfo might show this info)
