Need help updating firmware on Windows XP
Im currently trying to update firmware on my audio interface to the newest firmware version, however the firmware update needs to be run using a Windows XP or Mac PowerPC OS. I do not have access to a Windows XP or PowerPC machine as they are very outdated.
Im currently running the audio interface on my Macbook Pro, using MacOS Mojave, which is connected using a FireWire to thunderbolt adapter.
I've tried using virtualization software such as VMWare Fusion and Parallels to set up a Windows XP environment that I can use for the update, however I am unable to find any way to connect the thunderbolt port to the guest OS.
Any ideas on what other options I might have?
