Vim always stay on the last line in output buffer
So I made myself a build console ini vim using the following funciton:
function Printbuild()
"let logjob = job_start("cmake -Bbuild -H. && cmake --build build/ -- -j4 -w", {'out_io': 'buffer', 'out_name': 'buildwindow'})
"set splitbelow
let logjob = job_start(["/bin/bash","-c",g:buildprg],{'out_io': 'buffer', 'out_name': 'dummy'})
set splitbelow
20split | buffer dummy
endfunction
and it seams to work okay (I just need to figure out how to switch back to the edit buffer quickly to continue working immediatly)
But theres a small problem. Everytime the split fills up with text, vim doesnt follow it and doesn't automaticly scroll:
Building....
1%
2%
3%
4%
<vim stops here>
when it should just automaticly follow it with new content like this:
97%
98%
99%
100%
done!
is there a way to get this kind of behaviour with vim 8.1?
vim gvim buffer
