Connect two computers under different wifi using ssh
Under the identical wifi, I could connect to another computer using SSH
me@me:~$ ssh assistant@assistant.local
assistant@assistant.local's password:
Welcome to Ubuntu 18.10 (GNU/Linux 4.18.0-13-generic x86_64)
0 packages can be updated.
0 updates are security updates.
*** System restart required ***
Last login: Mon Jan 14 13:24:22 2019 from 192.168.31.117
If switch to different wifi, it fails
@alpha:~$ ssh assistant@assistant.local
ssh: connect to host assistant.local port 22: No route to host
However, the second situation is useful, for example, I could reach to the computer at office from the home machine's terminal.
Could you please provide any hints to achieve it?
ssh

You are probably on different networks and as the error says, there is no route to the host.
