How do i figure out the location of binary logs for MariaDB versions less than 10.1.6?

0

MariaDB supports the LOG_BIN_BASENAME variable which can be queried
as follows to get the location of binary logs.

MariaDB [(none)]> select @@GLOBAL.LOG_BIN_BASENAME;
+------------------------------------------------+
| @@GLOBAL.LOG_BIN_BASENAME |
+------------------------------------------------+
| /mnt/sqlbinlogdisk/binlogs/mysql/localhost-bin |
+------------------------------------------------+

However this is only introduced in release 10.1.6.

What is the best way to retrieve the location of binary logs for versions less than 10.1.6 ?
