  • How can I remove malicious spyware, malware, adware, viruses, trojans or rootkits from my PC?

  • External hard drive with corrupt data

    1 answer

When I connected the hard drive in one of the computers in the bookstore, I suddenly found that its name changed, it became filled with weird files, and when I tried to see what is the matter at home, I discovered that it had become corrupted. Please help me. How can I fix it? It contained a lot of important documents. Also, is my PC at risk of having been infected because I connected the hard drive in it? My problem is that I am unable to format it: the format fails.

Wipe the drive and reinstall your data from your backups. You do have backups, right? If not, then treat this as a good learning experience.
