Defining Words Automatically [closed]

1

I have a table of words in Microsoft Word. One column has all the terms and I want to output the definition of those words to the second column. I thought there might be a way to do this but have had no luck when I tried searching for it. Is there a built in feature, macro, or code snippet I could use to do this? I also thought maybe this would be easier in Excel but had no luck there either. I can pretty easily export the table data to there if there is a way. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

  • I do not have a list of them. I was just going to query them from the internet.

  • Could you please give an example of such a word (term) and its "definition"? And do you intend a specific internet resource where these definitions are already available?
